WITH SUPPORT FROM CAPITAL BLUECROSS, SUMMIT ENDOWMENT, CHAMBERSBURG ROTARY, THE BB&T FOUNDATION AND THE ALEXANDER STEWART, M.D. FOUNDATION, CHAC HAS DEVELOPED A FREE PROGRAM FOR THE PARENTS OF THREE AND FOUR-YEAR-OLD CHILDREN. 


ITS PURPOSE IS TO HELP PARENTS PREPARE THEIR CHILDREN, AT HOME, FOR PRE-SCHOOL & KINDERGARTEN.

 

THE PROGRAM WILL OFFERED TWICE IN 2019

beginning in April, 2019

Topics: The cognitive, emotional, physical

"milestones" expected of Pre-K

children & how to attain them at home.


Other Programs:

CHAC refers adults to the Literacy Council

(Coyle Library) for GED & English language study.


CHAC offers computer access, in its office,

 enabling clients to fill out

online job applications and conduct research.



CHAC refers clients to Legal Services so that

 they may prepare for the

U.S.A. citizenship test.
