EDUCATION

WITH SUPPORT FROM CAPITAL BLUECROSS, IN APRIL 2016, CHAC WILL OFFER A TEN-SESSION PROGRAM FOR THE MOTHERS OF TWO, THREE AND FOUR-YEAR-OLD CHILDREN. THE PURPOSE OF THE PROGAM IS TO HELP PARENTS PREPARE THEIR CHILDREN FOR KINDERGARTEN. 

Topics include:

Literacy; Raising a bilingual child;

Discipline; Healthy eating;

School expectations;

Cognitive, emotional, physical

"milestones" expected of Pre-K

children

CHAC refers adults to the Literacy Council (256

 S. Main St.)

for GED & English language study. CHAC owns

 256 S. Main 

and the Literacy Council is our partner.

We offer computer access, in our office,

 enabling clients to fill out

online job applications.

CHAC refers clients to Legal Services so that

 they may prepare for the

U.S.A. citizenship test.
